Pilar Tarrau is accessory Venezuelan Designer, based in New York City. She studied at Miami International University of Art & Design. She also graduated in interior design with a specialization in texture combination. Pilar Styles for “Hola Magazine” in Miami, Spain, Mexico and launched her first accessory collection at Aspen International Fashion Week 2014. Soon thereafter, she gained national recognition after being the winner of 2014. Denim by Guess Handbags at the independent handbag designer awards in New York City. She participate and the FUNKFUSION and Italian independent, 3rd Annual emerging designer series contest in Miami Swim Week 2014. She also recently participated in the documentary, 'Startup is the New Black' which was featured at the 2014 Miami Fashion Film Festival, also the film won 'the best Local Film: She did one of their first fashion collaborations a full winter / 2014-15 Aspen Ranch Collection, in a collaboration photography exhibition from the private collection of Martin Z. Margulies, a well know art collector and developer. With the participation of the New World Symphony and all events are benefits of Lotus House. Now days Pilar is presenting her new collection at the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale. Her accessory collection inspired in Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera is part of the biggest exposition of the Museum about this exquisite artists. He studied at FIT summer 2015, New York. China Fashion Marketing, Designers and Dressmaker's Garment Center Resources, how to design and merchandise an accessories line. Recently in October 2015 she was named by Handbag Designer Awards in NYC Designer of the day.
